Synopsis
Thiruda Thirudi is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by Subramaniam Siva and starring Dhanush and Chaya Singh.
The film follows Vasudevan, a middle-class man from a lower-middle-class family who is irresponsible and untrustworthy, and Vijayalakshmi, an ambitious and career-oriented girl from a traditional Telugu family. The two meet and have a chance encounter that leads to a series of bickering and misunderstandings.
Vasu leaves for Chennai to prove himself to his father, while Viji gets a job in the same city and moves into the same apartment complex as Vasu. As they navigate their lives and relationships, Vasu falls in love with Viji, but their past actions create tension between them.
The film explores themes of love, family, and redemption, ultimately leading to a heartwarming conclusion where Vasu proves himself and wins back the love of his life.
