Thangamana Thangachi is a 1991 Tamil drama film directed by Senthilnathan.
The story revolves around siblings Vijay and Seetha, who are raised solely by Vijay after their mother's death. Vijay becomes a taxi driver while his sister Seetha falls in love with the postman Kannan. Simultaneously, Lakshmi (the daughter of corrupt politician Marappan) harbours feelings for Vijay, despite her brother's violent nature towards young girls.
At Seetha's wedding to Kannan, Lakshmi's brother kidnaps Seetha and subsequently rapes and kills her. This tragedy fuels Vijay's desire for revenge against the perpetrators.
The film stars R. Sarathkumar in a lead role alongside Aamani (credited as Meenakshi), with supporting performances by Mansoor Ali Khan, Ragapriya, Jai Ganesh, Senthil and K.R. Ganesh. The music was composed by Shankar–Ganesh, with lyrics written by Kalidasan.
Thangamana Thangachi was released on 15 January 1991.
