Thangam is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Kicha and starring Sathyaraj as Thangam, a village do-gooder in Tamil Nadu.
The story revolves around two families, headed by Rajendranath and Mahadevan respectively, with their sons Delhi Kumar and Aaruchami being central to the plot. Thangam and his sister Bhagyalakshmi share a special attachment, while Aaruchami is jealous of the respect commanded by Thangam and his family.
The two families turn foes due to the local MLA, who is corrupt and wants to get rid of Rajendranath. The film features a soundtrack composed by Jerome Pushparaj and marks the acting debut of Vijaya Chiranjeevi, son of stunt master Jaguar Thangam.
