Thadayam is a 1997 Indian Tamil language film directed by Ramesh Balakrishnan.
The film stars Vijayashanti, Ramki and Indraja, with Chandrasekhar alias Chandru as the main character, a graduate who struggles to find employment and often ends up in jail. Jothi, played by Indraja, is a fearless criminal lawyer who fights against injustice.
Chandru falls in love with Devi while Jothi is in love with him, adding a romantic twist to the story. The soundtrack was composed by Deva.
The film was released on 28 November 1997 and received positive reviews from critics, with K. N. Vijiyan of New Straits Times praising those who enjoy court scenes and Vijayasanthi's performance.
