Synopsis
Swargam Naragam (1977) is a Telugu-language romantic drama film directed by Dasari Narayana Rao and starring Mohan Babu and Annapoorna in their debut roles.
The film revolves around three couples, each with its own unique dynamics. The first couple consists of Acharya (Dasari Narayana Rao), who takes advantage of others' mistakes to earn money, and his wife Mary. In contrast, the second couple is that of Annapurna (Annapoorna) and playboy Mohan (Mohan Babu), while the third couple comprises Jaya (Jayalakshmi) and Vikram (Eswara Rao).
The film was later remade in Bollywood as Swarg Narak (1978) and in Tamil as Sorgam Naragam (1977). It has garnered the Nandi Award for Best Feature Film.
