Synopsis
Suyetchai MLA is a 2006 Tamil-language political satire film directed by Guru Dhanapal.
The film stars Sathyaraj and Goundamani, with Nassar as MLA Arivudaiyan. The story follows Nambirajan (Sathyaraj), a lorry driver who becomes involved in local politics after his sister Priya (Ammu) falls for Rakesh (Rakesh), the son of Muthiah Pillai (Rajan P. Dev).
Nambirajan decides to stand in the election as an individual candidate, but faces opposition from the ruling party and ultimately suffers a tragic turn of events.
The film was released on 5 May 2006 after many delays.
