Synopsis
Sukran is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar.
The film stars Vijay in an extended cameo as the title character, alongside Ravi Krishna and Anita Hassanandani as the lead pair.
The movie follows the story of Ravi Shankar and Sandhya, students at a college in Dindigul who are in love. However, their relationship is threatened by Sandhya's cruel stepmother, who wants to marry her off to her uncle.
When Sandhya's stepmother discovers their affair, she takes drastic measures, leading to a tragic turn of events.
The film features music composed by debutant Vijay Antony, with the score also handled by Pravin Mani.
