Synopsis
Singakutty is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language film written and directed by A. Venkatesh.
The film stars Shivaji Dev as Kadhir, a fearless young man who helps the police department nab a notorious criminal in Chennai. He was selected as an SI and finished his training in Chennai before returning to his hometown.
Kadhir's past is revealed through flashbacks, where he is shown to be a happy-go-lucky youngster who deceives a juice shop owner named Paulraj (Vivek) by showing a photo-shopped picture of actress Malavika. He also falls in love with Anjali (Gowri Munjal), the daughter of a big entrepreneur in Madurai.
The film was released on 21 March 2008.
