Shree

Shree is an Indian Tamil-language action drama film released in 2002.

The film stars Suriya as Sri, a mercenary longing for his father's love. He has been ostracized from his family because his father felt he had a hand in the death of his younger sister. Sri is still in love with Meenakshi from his old "Agraharam" and she is also in love with him, but their union is derided by Sri's father, Sankara Iyer.

The film marked the directorial debut of Pushpavasagan, who earlier assisted R. V. Udayakumar and directed ad films and music videos. The acting debut of Shrutika can be seen in this movie. The soundtrack was composed by T. S. Muralidharan, marking his film debut.

The first schedule was filmed in Chennai, while the remaining filming took place at Pollachi and Gobichettipalayam.
