Selva Magal is a 1967 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by K. V. Srinivas and produced by T. S. Rajasundaresan.
The screenplay was written by Subbu Arumugam, with the story credited to Rajasri. The musical score was composed by M. S. Viswanathan.
The film stars Jaishankar, Rajasree, Srikanth, Shylashri, Nagesh and Major Sundarrajan. It follows a plot where Balaram flees after robberies, leaving his wife Parvathi and son behind. The child is separated from his mother and raised by Sekar, who instills gentlemanly education in him.
Simultaneously, Sekar falls in love with Sarada, Ranganathan's only daughter. Upon returning home under the alias Balasundaram, Balaram attempts to target Ranganathan for some purpose, while his stepson Mohan develops an interest in Sarada.
This sets up a complex situation involving deception and conflict between the characters.
