Seedan

Seedan is a 2011 Indian Tamil-language romantic fantasy drama film directed by Subramaniam Siva.

The film stars Dhanush in an extended cameo appearance and also features Unni Mukundan and Ananya in the lead roles, alongside Sheela, Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Vivek, Ponvannan, and Ilavarasu in supporting roles.

The movie is a remake of the 2002 Malayalam film Nandanam and follows the story of Mahalakshmi, a servant at the residence of the elderly Amritavalli. In a dream, she finds herself married to an unknown man, who later appears in real life as her employer's grandson.

The film was released on 25 February 2011 and received mixed reviews. It was also dubbed in Telugu as Mahalakshmi.
