Synopsis
Rojavanam is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Selva and produced by Kavithalayaa Productions.
The film stars Karthik, Laila, and Malavika, and was released on July 30, 1999.
In the story, Muthu, a favourite employee at Rojavanam, an old age home in Ooty, falls for Sindhu, a psychology student. However, he develops feelings for Roja, the daughter of his boss, who is already engaged to Siva, her childhood friend and the son of the other owner of the home.
Roja also has a liking for Muthu, but their love is complicated by the arranged marriage between Siva and Roja. Muthu steps in to solve the problem and convinces Roja to marry Siva as per their parents' wishes, saving the old age home from being demolished.
The film explores themes of love, family, and loyalty set against the backdrop of an old age home in Ooty.
