Synopsis
Rettaisuzhi is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Thamira and starring K. Balachander and Bharathiraja alongside Anjali, Aari Arujunan, Jayachitra, Karunas, Manobala, and Ilavarasu in supporting roles.
The film tells the story of a couple who fall in love despite their families' opposition. The feud between Ramasamy (K. Balachander) and Singaravelan (Bharathiraja), which spans over four decades, is put to rest when Susheela (Anjali) and Murthy (Aari Arujunan) confess their love for each other.
The film follows the efforts of the couple's children as they try to bring both families together and get them married. Set in a village in Thirunelveli, Rettaisuzhi explores themes of love, family, and reconciliation.
