Puriyaadha Pudhir is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language mystery thriller film written and directed by K. S. Ravikumar for his directorial debut.
The movie was produced by R. B. Choudary and released on September 7, 1990.
The plot follows Raghu, who escapes from jail and hides in a bungalow belonging to his college mate Geetha. He confesses being a death row convict. When the police arrive searching for him, they discover a dead body which Geetha claims is her husband Chakravarthi, killed by her but staged as an accident.
Raghu agrees to help dispose of the corpse. The film is a remake of the 1989 Kannada film Tarka, based on Agatha Christie's 1958 play, The Unexpected Guest.
