Pudhu Vasantham is a 1990 Indian Tamil-language musical drama film directed by Vikraman in his directorial debut.
The movie stars Murali, Anand Babu, Raja, Charle and Sithara, revolving around four male friends who become street musicians after an incident involving a mute girl named Gowri, played by Sithara.
Produced by R. B. Choudary and R. Mohan under Super Good Films, the film was released on 14 April 1990 and achieved significant commercial success, running for over 25 weeks in theaters.
The four friends – Balu (who sings), Michael (who dances and plays tabla), Raja (guitar player) and Manohar (flutist) – form the core of the story. Their poverty-stricken lives take a turn when they encounter Gowri, leading to her cohabitation with them.
The film was later remade in Kannada as Shruthi and in Hindi as Baharon Ke Manzil.
