Synopsis
Priyasakhi is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by K. S. Adhiyaman and produced by P. L. Thenappan.
The film stars Madhavan and Sadha in the titular roles, with Aishwarya, Ramesh Khanna, Manobala, and Kovai Sarala featuring in supporting roles.
Production began in December 2004, and the film was released on 22 July 2005. The movie is a contemporary Indian take on life and pregnancy topics, serving as a remake of the long-delayed Bollywood film Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar (also directed by Adhiyaman), starring Salman Khan and Shilpa Shetty.
The story revolves around Sandhana Krishnan, also known as Sakhi, an automobile company employee who lives in a joint family. He falls in love with model Priya and uses her friend to gain her attention, later tricking her into falling for him by posing as her ideal guy.
