Praptham is a 1971 Indian Tamil-language film directed and produced by Savitri. The movie stars Sivaji Ganesan and Savitri herself in a dual role.
The film is a remake of the successful 1964 Telugu film Mooga Manasulu, with Savitri serving as composer and lyricist for some parts, including the song "Sandhanathil Nalla" set to the Madhyamavati raga. The primary filming location was an island situated between Kakinada and Amalapuram.
Despite its ambitious production involving Sivaji Ganesan and Savitri's dual role as director, producer, and star, Praptham became a box-office bomb upon release.
