Synopsis
Pop Carn is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Nassar.
The film stars Mohanlal and Simran, with newcomers Kunal Shah and Simran's younger sister Jyothi Naval in supporting roles.
The title "Pop Carn" is a play on the word "popcorn," referring to the phrase "Pop Carnival." The storyline focuses on why marriages between celebrities can suffer due to conflicts between egos.
Popular music director Vikramaditya returns from a long sabbatical and falls in love with a fusion dancer Jamuna, whom he marries. However, their clashing artistic egos lead to the breakdown of their relationship.
Vikramaditya's daughter Megha attempts to reunite her father and mother, but ultimately fails. The rest of the movie follows Vikramaditya and Jamuna as they rekindle their romance.
