Synopsis
Paramasivan is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by P. Vasu and produced by S. Ramesh Babu.
The film stars Ajith Kumar in the main lead role alongside Laila, Vivek, Prakash Raj, and Jayaram.
Based on the Hindi-language film Kartoos (1999), Paramasivan follows Subramaniyam Siva, who is sentenced to death for killing corrupt police officers responsible for his father's and sister's murder. He is recruited by honest police officer Nandakumar to help him eradicate a terrorist group behind Coimbatore blasts.
The film was released on January 14, 2006, but received widespread negative reviews and performed poorly at the box office.
