Synopsis
Paattali is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar and written from a story by Chinni Krishna.
The film stars R. Sarathkumar in the main lead role alongside Ramya Krishnan and Devayani, with music composed by S. A. Rajkumar.
Shanmugam, the grandson of wealthy landlord Kulasekaran, is raised by his paternal aunt Lakshmi after his parents' death. However, Lakshmi's husband tries to kill Shanmugam, prompting her to lie and transfer the wealth to her name, allowing Shanmugam to grow up as a servant in their home.
Paattali was released on 17 December 1999 and became a commercial success.
