Synopsis
Nee Venunda Chellam is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language romantic action film directed by L. Venkatesan and starring Ramesh, Gajala, and Namitha in lead roles.
The supporting cast includes Thilakan, Vivek, Vincent Asokan, and Dhina composed the music for the film.
The movie follows Kannan as he falls in love with Geetha, a girl living in his neighborhood. However, her father Viswanathan creates misunderstandings by sending Kannan's love letters to Anjali, Ashok's sister, who is also residing in the same locality. Anjali is engaged to be married to Ashok, a dreaded gangster.
As the story unfolds, Anjali mistakenly believes that Kannan loves her, leading to a series of events where Ashok's men pursue Kannan. Meanwhile, Kannan manages to meet Geetha and opens his heart, while Anjali tries to kidnap him in an attempt to escape her arranged marriage.
The film was released on August 17, 2006.
