Synopsis
Nee Varuvai Ena is a 1999 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film written and directed by Rajakumaran.
The film stars Parthiban and Devayani, with Ajith Kumar in an extended guest appearance, alongside Ramesh Khanna, Vijayakumar, Fathima Babu, Jai Ganesh, and Sathyapriya in important roles.
Ganesh, the protagonist, is a bank manager who dreams of marriage despite being from an inter-caste family. He gets involved in an accident on his way to take up a promotion and later receives an eye transplant from another man who died in the crash.
The film was released on August 14, 1999, to positive reviews and was successful at the box office. It was later remade in Telugu as Ninne Premistha (2000), in Kannada Ninne Preethisuve (2002), and in Malayalam as Pranayamanithooval (2002).
