Synopsis
Mozhi is a 2007 Indian Tamil language musical romantic comedy film written and directed by Radha Mohan.
The film stars Prithviraj, Jyothika, Prakash Raj, and Swarnamalya in key roles.
The plot revolves around Karthik (Prithviraj), who falls in love with a deaf and mute girl, Archana (Jyothika). Despite her initial disapproval of his love, the rest of the story follows Archana's journey towards accepting Karthik's affection.
Shot at various locations in India and Mauritius, the film features music composed by Vidyasagar with lyrics written by Vairamuthu. Mu. Kasivishwanathan handled the editing, while K. V. Guhan worked as cinematographer. The dialogues were penned by Viji.
The film was launched in 2006 and released on February 23, 2007. It emerged as a critical and commercial success, with Jyothika winning Best Actress at the Tamil Nadu State Film Awards.
