Synopsis
Mayabazar is a 1995 Indian Tamil-language comedy horror film directed by Keyaar and produced by Meena Panchu Arunachalam.
The film stars Ramki and Urvashi, with Suvarna Mathew, Visu, Vivek, and Ajay Rathnam in supporting roles.
Suji, the only daughter of billionaire Vishwanathan, plays pranks on her unsuspecting family. When she chooses Ram as her father's new secretary, her friends Moorthy, manager Ajay, and Swarna plot to take over the family property by setting up Raja to marry Suji instead.
However, Suji marries Ram, leading to a series of events that ultimately result in her death. Suji becomes a ghost and seeks revenge, with the help of Mayamma, a lookalike who works as a fake exorcist.
The film follows Suji's journey as she tries to clear up the truth behind Ram's kidnapping by the villains.
Mayabazar was released on 12 August 1995.
