Synopsis
Mariyadhai is a 2009 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Vikraman.
The story unfolds in a small village near Pollachi and revolves around Annamalai, who leads a contended life with his wife Alamelu, their daughter Sumathy, and their son Pichai. The family welcomes Chandra, a radio jockey played by Meera Jasmine, who falls in love with Pichai.
The film explores themes of love, family, and societal expectations, featuring a dual role for Vijayakanth as father and son, alongside Ambika, Meena, and Meera Jasmine. The soundtrack was composed by Vijay Antony.
