Synopsis
Margazhi 16 is a 2011 Indian Tamil language romantic drama film directed by K. Stephen.
The film stars newcomers Jayanth and Srinidhi, with L. Raja, Srinivas, Sevvalai Raju, Stunt Silva, and Chandra playing supporting roles.
Set in Thoothukudi in the 1990s, the story follows Kathir, a carefree young man who lives with his widowed mother and sister. He befriends Jennifer, a student in tenth grade, after defending her against a classmate's harasser, Madamurugan.
As they spend more time together, Jennifer develops a soft corner for Kathir, and they eventually fall in love. The film explores their romance amidst the backdrop of small-town life in Thoothukudi.
