Synopsis
Mangala Nayagi is a 1980 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Krishnan–Panju. The film stars Srikanth and K. R. Vijaya in the lead roles, with Shobana making her on-screen debut as a child artist.
The movie is a remake of the 1978 Hindi film Saajan Bina Suhagan. The soundtrack was composed by V. Kumar, with lyrics penned by Vaali.
Released on 21 March 1980, Mangala Nayagi received generally positive critical reception, with praise for the performances of Srikanth and Vijaya, as well as the direction by Krishnan–Panju and cinematography by Ravibabu.
