Maha Prabhu is a 1996 Indian Tamil-language masala film directed by A. Venkatesh in his directorial debut.

The story revolves around Damodaran, a petty criminal who falls in love with Mahalakshmi, a professor. Eswarapandiyan, an honest police officer, is determined to arrest the corrupt politician Shanmugavel, whose son Bhaskar spreads terror among college students. Uma, Eswarapandiyan's wife, is killed by Shanmugavel, and Eswarapandiyan is left for dead.
The film follows the journey of Damodaran and Eswarapandiyan as they come together to defeat the evil politician and bring justice to those affected by his crimes.
