Kurathi Magan is a 1972 Indian Tamil-language film directed by K. S. Gopalakrishnan.
The story revolves around a mother from the Kuravar community who faces ostracization and blame for not being chaste, leading her to leave with her son determined to give him a good education.
The film features Gemini Ganesan, K. R. Vijaya, Master Sridhar, Jayachitra (her acting debut), Shylashri, V. S. Raghavan, Suruli Rajan and Kamal Haasan in a brief role.
The music was composed by K. V. Mahadevan.
The film was released on 29 April 1972.
