Synopsis
Kizhakkum Merkkum is a 1998 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by Kalanjiyam.
The film stars Napoleon, Nassar, Devayani and Geetha, with Manivannan, Thalaivasal Vijay, Vichithra, Theni Kunjarammal, Kalyanjiyam, and Chaplin Balu playing supporting roles.
The movie tells the story of Suryamurthy (Napoleon) and his sister Thillai (Geetha), who were expelled from their home by their stepmother Chinnamma at a young age. Years later, Suryamurthy finds a groom for his sister in Kathalingam (Nassar), but discovers that he is actually a bad person with an affair with the village belle Valli (Vichithra). Despite this, Thillai and Kathalingam get married.
The film was released on 14 January 1998.
