Synopsis
Kana Kandaen is a 2005 Indian Tamil-language thriller film directed by K. V. Anand in his directorial debut.
The film stars Srikanth, Gopika, and Prithviraj, with music composed by Vidyasagar and cinematography by Soundarrajan.
Prithviraj marks his Tamil debut as the antagonist in the film. Bhaskar and Archana, childhood friends who grew up in the same village, are the main characters.
The story revolves around their relationship and a marriage that takes an unexpected turn.
The film was released on 13 May 2005 and was dubbed into Telugu as Karthavyam and into Malayalam as Kana Kandaen.
