Synopsis
Kalam Vellum is a 1970 Indian Tamil-language Western film directed by M. Karnan.
The film stars Jaishankar, Vijayakumari, and Vijaya Lalitha, and revolves around Velu, a poor farmer who seeks revenge for his sister's death at the hands of landlord Periyaraja.
Velu joins a gang of dacoits led by Narasingam, eventually becoming their leader. His aim is to rob the rich and save the poor, while also taking revenge against Periyasamy.
The film was released on 11 September 1970.
