Kai Niraya Kasu is a 1974 Indian Tamil-language comedy-drama film directed by A. B. Raj and written by Moulee, based on a story by Dharmaraj.
The film stars Nagesh and Prameela in the lead roles, with supporting performances from M. R. R. Vasu, Thengai Srinivasan, Srikanth, Master Rajkumar, A. Sakunthala, Sachu, and L. Kanchana.
Production began in late September 1973 at the Mysore Premier Studio, with music composed by Shankar–Ganesh and lyrics written by Kannadasan.
The film was released on 8 March 1974 and received praise for its cast's performances and dialogues, although critics noted average cinematography. In later years, Nagesh's performance in this film was highlighted as one of his best, particularly for its comedic value.
