Synopsis
Kadhaludan is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language romantic drama film directed by Rajakumaran.
The film stars Murali, Devayani, and Abbas, and was produced by Devayani.
Released on February 14, 2003, coinciding with Valentine's Day, the movie follows Kalyan, a talented magician who works with his friend and assistant Ramesh. Kalyan's mother insists him to get married soon and she finds a bride for him.
Kalyan then stalks his supposed bride Kavitha everywhere she goes, eventually falling under her spell and helping them settle their debts. However, Kavitha attempts to commit suicide due to her lover Durai's father arranging a marriage for him.
Durai and Kavitha were in love, but Durai's father asks an expensive dowry, causing Kavitha to wait for his return. Concerned about her past, Kalyan decides to find Durai, only to discover he is dead. With the help of Kalyan, Durai returns to marry Kavitha without their parents' blessing.
The film follows a romantic drama plot with elements of magic and deception.
