Ishtam

Ishtam is a 2012 Indian Tamil-language romance film directed by Prem Nizar.

The film stars Vimal and Nisha Aggarwal, and is a remake of the Telugu film Yemaindi Ee Vela (2010).

The movie follows the story of Saravanan, a modern city guy, and Sandhya, a village girl who comes to the city for work. They meet while going to an interview and initially disagree, but eventually develop a friendship that blossoms into love.

Despite their initial happiness in marriage, they face disagreements and decide to divorce. Both go to live with their parents, who try to find them new partners. However, the love between Saravanan and Sandhya is rekindled as they miss each other.

The film was released on 25 May 2012.
