Synopsis
Idhuthanda Sattam is a 1992 Indian Tamil language crime action film directed by Senthilnathan.
The film stars R. Sarathkumar as Selvaraj, an upright police officer promoted to SP in a new area and supported by Rekha as Inspector Amudha. The story follows Selvaraj's confrontation with Gurusami (a notorious figure) and his henchmen Kaali, Dharma, and Soori.
Selvaraj's tragic past is also explored, involving a murder during Diwali by Gurusami, which resulted in the deaths of his wife Lakshmi and father-in-law Judge Venugopal. The film was released on 29 May 1992.
