Synopsis
Idhaya Vaasal is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy drama film directed by Chandranath.
The movie stars Ramesh Aravind in the lead role alongside Meena, with music composed by Viji Manuel.
In the plot, successful businessman Aravind faces family issues when his brother Murali becomes a drunkard. Their father, Krishnaswamy, feeling responsible for Murali's situation, grants Aravind complete freedom to choose his future wife.
Aravind then falls in love with Vaani at first sight and proposes marriage, but her father declines due to past experiences involving their daughter. Undeterred, Aravind pursues Vaani everywhere despite facing setbacks. His friend Ganesh, an ex-police officer, befriends him and offers assistance as the story unfolds.
The film was released on 17 May 1991.
