I Love India is a 1993 Indian Tamil-language action film written and directed by Pavithran.
The movie stars Sarathkumar as Diwakar, an Indian Brigadier tasked with eradicating terrorism in Kashmir. He lives with his sister Anu and falls in love with Priya, played by debutante Tisca Chopra alongside Shenbagam's portrayal of another significant female character.
Produced by K. T. Kunjumon through A. R. S. Film International, the film was part of a planned collaboration following previous successes like Vasanthakala Paravai (1991) and Surieyan (1992). However, Kunjumon left the project due to creative differences.
The plot revolves around Diwakar's mission. He promises his sister Anu that he will marry Priya if she is kidnapped by terrorists. After her tragic death at their hands, Diwakar marries Priya and dedicates himself to eliminating the terrorist threat, even as personal tragedy fuels his quest.
The film was released on 14 October 1993 and unfortunately failed at the box office upon its initial release.
