Galatta Kalyanam is a 1968 Indian Tamil-language romantic comedy film directed by C. V. Rajendran and written by Gopu. The film stars Sivaji Ganesan as Madan and Jayalalithaa as Lalitha, who are in love.
The story revolves around Madan's task of finding suitable grooms for the daughters of a businessman, Dharmalingam, who requires all his daughters' weddings to occur simultaneously. The eldest daughter Rathna (played by Manorama) is averse to marriage, while the others have their own tastes and preferences.
After overcoming significant difficulties, Madan finds grooms for all the daughters, but one of them disappears on the wedding eve, leaving the question of tracing him unanswered.
The film was released on 12 April 1968 and was later remade in Malayalam as Snehikkan Samayamilla and in Kannada as Aliya Devaru. It is based on Gopu and Sridhar's play of the same name.
