Diwan

Diwan is a 2003 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by Surya Prakash and produced by P. L. Thenappan.

The film stars R. Sarathkumar in dual roles, Kiran Rathod, Vadivelu, and Sharmilee, among others.

Raghavan, a cook who works at a non-veg hotel, falls in love with Geetha, the daughter of a rich man. After being insulted by her father for his poverty, Raghavan accepts a challenge to become rich within a year.

There is also a subplot involving Aishwarya, a wealthy woman who runs away from home with her lover Raju, a driver. Raghavan helps Aishwarya and fights against those who threaten her.

The film was released on 22 August 2003.
