Synopsis
Dharmam Vellum is a 1989 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film produced and directed by K. Rangaraj.
The film stars Vijayakanth, Sujatha, and Gautami, and follows the story of Jaganath, who lives with his wife Saradha and their son Vijay. After facing humiliation from Saradha's father due to financial constraints, Jaganath temporarily leaves Saradha and later finds work as a police constable.
Saradha is involved in crimes and faces the death penalty after being sentenced in prison. Her son Vijay attempts to save her from incarceration. The film explores their confrontation with Saradha's father and the challenges faced by Jaganath and his family.
Dharmam Vellum was released on 28 October 1989, but unfortunately became a box office failure.
