Dharma Chakkaram is a 1997 Indian Tamil-language action drama film directed by K. S. Ravikumar and produced by Lakshmi Movie Makers.
The film stars Vijayakanth, Rambha, and Deepti Bhatnagar.
Set in a village, the story revolves around Chakkaravarthy, who manages the problems that arise among the villagers. His past is marked by a tragic love affair with Vijayalakshmi, which ultimately leads to her sacrifice after marrying his arch-nemesis, Arumugam.
A new woman named Vijayalakshmi enters the village, and Chakkaravarthy defends her against the villagers. However, she is later tortured by Arumugam's goons, leading to a confrontation between Chakkaravarthy and his enemy.
