Chatrapathy is a 2004 Indian Tamil language action film directed by Srimahesh in his debut.
The film stars R. Sarathkumar and Nikita Thukral, with Vadivelu, Mahadevan, and Adithya Menon playing supporting roles.
Saravanan, a bus driver, is also the caretaker of an orphanage, while Kili is the bus cleaner at a college. Indhu, a student, tries to woo Saravanan. However, it is revealed that Saravanan is actually Chatrapathy, an army major who received the Param Vir Chakra for his bravery.
Chatrapathy's past is connected to a local politician, Chakravarthy, who has been exploiting poor farmers in Saravanan's native village. The film follows the story of Saravanan/Chatrapathy as he navigates his life and confronts those responsible for the injustices.
The film was released on 11 November 2004.
