Synopsis
Bose is an Indian Tamil-language action thriller film released in 2004, directed by Senthil Kumar and starring Srikanth and Sneha in the lead roles.
The film follows Captain Bose as he leads a NSG commando operation to rescue Union Minister Kottaiperumal from terrorists who have kidnapped him and his associates. The operation results in equal losses for both sides, but threats against Kottaiperumal force Bose to continue protecting him.
Production took place across India, with two songs shot in Kyrgyzstan. The film was dubbed into Telugu as Rakshana and released in 2005, and also dubbed in Hindi as Commando - The Force. A Kannada remake, Yodha, was released in 2009.
The movie stars Srikanth and Sneha in the lead roles with Kalabhavan Mani, Nagesh, Thalaivasal Vijay, Manikka Vinayagam, and Kalairani in supporting roles. It was written and directed by Senthil Kumar.
