Synopsis
Billa is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language action thriller film directed by Vishnuvardhan.
The film stars Ajith Kumar as an underworld don and his friendly look-alike, alongside Nayanthara and Namitha.

The story revolves around David Billa, an international Don in Malaysia, who is chased by the cops, an Indian police officer, a woman seeking revenge for her brother's death, and a lowly thief named Velu.
The movie was produced by L. Suresh and Abdurrahman M, with music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, cinematography by Nirav Shah, and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.
Billa was released worldwide on December 14, 2007, and became highly successful, completing a 175-day run at theatres.
The film was selected to be screened at the 61st Cannes Film Festival and has a prequel titled Billa II, released in 2012.
