Bala

Bala is a 2002 Indian Tamil-language gangster action film directed by Deepak and starring Shaam as the titular character.

The film follows Bala, a hitman in Pasupathi's gang, who falls in love with Aarthi, the daughter of a rival gangster. As both gangs plan to end their rivalry, Bala faces several problems.

Aarthi is engaged to be married to Pasupathi's wayward son, but Bala becomes an unwanted person in this arrangement. The film features Meera Jasmine, Raghuvaran, Rajan P. Dev, Thilakan, Nagesh, and Karunas in supporting roles.

The music was composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, with cinematography by Priyan and editing by V. T. Vijayan. The film was released on 13 December 2002.
