Synopsis
Aruva Velu is a 1996 Indian Tamil language action drama film directed by P. S. Bharathi Kannan in his debut.
The film stars Nassar and Urvashi, with Rajesh as Muthurasa, Maruthayi (Urvashi) as Velu's love interest, and Anandaraj as Alavanthar, a stone-hearted rich landlord.
Velu is sentenced to death penalty after killing one of Alavanthar's sons. The film explores the story of how Velu, once an angry man who solved villagers' problems by violence, seeks revenge against those responsible for his uncle's death.
The movie was released on 15 January 1996.
