Synopsis
Archana I. A. S is a 1991 Indian Tamil-language political action drama film directed by A. Jagannathan.
The film stars Sithara, R. Sarathkumar and Siva, with Janagaraj, Vijayakumar, Srividya, Thalapathy Dinesh, Senthil and Delhi Ganesh playing supporting roles.
Archana IAS tells the story of Archana, a clever college student raised strictly by her widow mother who desires for her to become an IAS officer. She forms friendships with two orphans, Kumar and Mala. The plot takes a dark turn when Dinesh kills Mala in front of her brother, Santhosh Kumar.
Archana eventually becomes an IAS Officer while Siva joins the police force. The film was released on 5 July 1991.
