Synopsis
Antharangam is a 2010 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by J. V. Rukmangathan.
The film stars Dann, Sanjay, Kamalika Chanda, and Sindhu in lead roles, with Prasanna making a comeback through the film and Sindhu debuting as a lead actress.
The story revolves around an innocent girl who is cheated by her lover and sold into the red light area. A painting artist visits a brothel house where he meets Kamalika, played by Kamalika Chanda, who shares her traumatic experiences with him.
Dann plays Madan, Sanjay plays Ramesh, Kamalika Chanda plays Mohana, and Sindhu plays Sarasa in the film.
Antharangam was released on 16 July 2010 alongside similar themed films Devaleelai, Pollachi Mappillai, and Virunthali.
