Synopsis
Alaigal is a 1973 Indian Tamil-language film directed by Sridhar.
The movie features Vishnuvardhan in his debut role as the lead actor and Chandrakala among the cast members.
Sridhar initially conceived this project after an average response to his previous work, Avalukendru Or Manam (1971). Following a decision to can 4,000 feet of filming on another story he developed, Sridhar restarted the production with modifications to both the script and the cast.
The film stars Vishnuvardhan and Chandrakala. It was the first Tamil film of Vishnuvardhan.
